Hey, Gang

SEE WHAT LARGE LETTERS I USE AS I WRITE TO YOU ON MY OWN KEYBOARD! Well, that's kinda what the Apostle Paul did as he wrapped up his awesome letter to the church at Galatia.

Paul reminds us that as Christians our only boast is in the cross of Christ! This is our last look at Galatians--Part 11 in our series. It's been a blast!

Pastor Dain Spore takes us through Galatians 6:1-10, a passage that speaks of restoring repentant brothers and sister, avoiding temptation, bearing burdens with others and doing good for all people. Lots of good wisdom!

Hey Gang,

After spending a solid hour wallowing in the “acts of the flesh” last week (kind of felt like the whole book of Judges, yes?), this time we refresh ourselves bathing in the Fruit (singular) of the Harvest by the power of His Holy Spirit. A much needed solace for sure! Looking forward to sharing the good news of the Life in Christ together with you all.

Hey Gang,

We are back celebrating the grace of God as explained by Paul in his letter to the churches at Galatia. We are covering 5:16-21 as Paul sets up the difference between living in the fruits of the Spirit vs dying by acts of the flesh.

We look at how legalism is a literal death trap and that the joy of salvation from faith alone sets us free to really run the race unhindered!

Galatians Chapter 5:1-15. Paul says to the churches at Galatia, “You were running so well! Who cut you off?” What great imagery!

Hey Gang,

Here's a really cool teaching about Law and Grace as established by the story in Genesis about Sarah and Hagar. It is a fascinating little piece by Paul who correctly discerns the allegory put in place by God to instruct us about the superiority of Grace and Faith. It even has political and historical ramifications that are ongoing to this day! We cover Galatians 4:12-5:1.

Hey, Gang...

Paul drills down on Law versus the Gospel of faith in Christ. The Law imprisoned people, but it does "lead us to Christ" (3:24). Now we are sons of Almighty God!

Hey, Gang...

This time, the Apostle Paul carefully explains the superiority of the Gospel of grace over trying to live up to the Law that Jews of that time were expected to observe. In his letter to "You foolish Galatians," Paul made it clear that salvation is by GRACE - undeserved, not by human effort. Lots of stuff in here about Abraham, too.

Pastor Dain Spore - Galatians 2:1-21 Paul v Peter for the Win!

Hey, Gang...

The Apostle Paul takes on Peter! Head to head, toe to toe...well, they say Paul was short and Peter was big, so maybe Peter was sitting down. Whatever the case, Galatians 2:1-21 takes on seeking salvation by observing the Law versus finding Salvation via faith in Christ. It's another terrific look at GRACE!

Hey, Gang...

So who does this Paul guy think he is? Telling Christians they don’t need to get circumcised or follow the feasts! What gives him the right? Who died and made him an apostle? Well actually, watch my video and find out!

But first, I really recommend you watch the Bible Project video on the overview of Galatians, it is really helpful to understand the context. I hope it inspires you to watch a lot more Bible Project videos! They’re awesome. Here's the link to what I'm talking about: https://youtu.be/vmx4UjRFp0M
