Gideon is quite the character, and there is lots of application to our own lives. It's a great story of faith but ultimate disobedience.

We pick up where we left off in Hebrews, starting in 11:30 with the falling of the walls in Jericho and then going through what I would call a "rogues gallery" of people including Rahab, Gideon, Barack, Samson and more. All these people were living by faith yet none of them received what had been promised! What a great example for all of us.
